The automaker plans to release “a new or significantly revised vehicle every year” through 2030.

Mitsubishi just announced it will sell its own version of the Nissan Leaf in North America in the summer of 2026. The vehicle will be based on the next-generation Nissan Leaf, Mitsu said, and the shadowy photo above suggests it will be a compact crossover. It’s the exact same photo used a year ago in another release.

Mitsubishi will expand its global EV lineup by leveraging partnerships with other automakers, including Foxconn, for an Australian EV
