Amid the ongoing cold wave and foggy conditions, schools from nursery to class 8 in Noida will remain shut from tomorrow, January 3. The announcement has been made by Gautam Buddha Nagar District Magistrate Manish Kumar Verma considering the health of students.

With both minimum and maximum temperatures plummeting in Noida, the Gautam Buddha Nagar administration on Thursday ordered all schools up to Class 8 to remain shut "till further orders".

The Gautam Buddha Nagar administration has ordered closing of schools till 8th standard due to the ongoing coldwave conditions. In view of the order, all schools in Noida and Greater Noida will remain closed from Friday (December 3) until further notice.

The schools will remain shut from January 2 until further notice. The decision comes in response to the severe cold and dense fog prevailing in the region.

The District Magistrate of Gautam Buddha Nagar, Manish Kumar Verma, has released an order for declaring a holiday in schools. According to his directive, all schools in Noida will remain closed till further orders.
