The Boston Red Sox did all of their damage via home runs, going yard four times against Tampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Zack Littell on Wednesday night.

BOSTON — Roman Anthony, the top prospect in baseball, hit a two-run double for his first major league hit and added a sliding catch in right field to help the Boston Red Sox beat the Tampa Bay Rays 3-1 on Tuesday night.

A line drive that isn’t caught, well-struck balls that don’t fall, a couple pitches that are hit make for a different kind of night.

Despite letting the mistake-riddled Boston Red Sox back into the contest a few times down the stretch, the Tampa Bay Rays still held on to win 10-8 on Monday.

The Rays (-110 moneyline odds to win) and the Red Sox (-109) will square off in an expected tight matchup. The starting pitchers are Shane Baz (5-3) for the Tampa Bay Rays, and Brayan Bello (2-1) for the Boston Red Sox.
