UEFA Europa League glory awaits the victor as Tottenham meet Manchester United in the final in Bilbao. Tottenham are chasing a first European honour since 1984, while Manchester United are hoping to repeat their 2017 triumph in the second all-English final of the Europa League era.

However, there is no chance that a Manchester United-Tottenham final could be moved to an English venue, with Bilbao’s San Mames stadium awarded the rights to host the Europa League final way back in 2021, the same year that Uefa decided the Basque city would host the 2024 Women’s Champions League final.

The Europa League final between Manchester United and Tottenham will be officiated by the controversial Felix Zwayer who previously served a six-month match-fixing ban. Both English clubs have made it through to the Europa League final, which is due to be held in Bilbao on May 21.
